Limey (9 out of 10 )
Now this is a movie, this is a bloody movie! How about this for drama and suspense - remember those words Hollywood of today?
Grace Kelly is positively luminescent. And Jimmy Stewart, what needs to be said? He's as flinty and charismatic on four wheels as he is on legs?
Anthony Del Col (8 out of 10 ) Interesting to see how the comedic moments are written. I assumed that they would be minimal and Hitchcock added his touch, but there is a lot of humour in the actual screenplay as well.
astro chick200 (10 out of 10 ) Man, hitchcock rocks. I love his movies, they're so hot. So is he! He makes one awesome clock winder!
Arun R Brahma (10 out of 10 ) This Hitchcock fella's got one screwed up mind to cook a story like this. I am not complaining, kudos.
Daniel DeNapoli (10 out of 10 ) Rear window is a Classic. It has it all, great script, drama, suspense, mystery, and a love story. Hitchcock is a master of the art form.
Yaj (10 out of 10 ) Yep. Hitchock is the master. One of the most seductive & provocative scenes in movie history is the slow motion kiss between Kelly & Stewart. No nudity, vulgarity or sensationalism. And yet the heat just frazzles the screen.
Mars (7 out of 10 ) But. Hitchcock didn't write this script. Cornell Woolrich and John Michael Hayes did. Still a great script, I love the blocks and blocks of descriptive action. So much better than modern scripts which feature endless dialogue.
